Introduction

The NS6010 serial chip complies with the Automotive Wired High Speed Media Transmission (HSMT) standard. NS6010 converts MIPI CSI-2 into an HSMT link output for transmitting video and bidirectional control data. The HSMT link operates at a fixed data rate of 3.2Gbps or 2.0Gbps in the forward direction and 100Mbps in the reverse direction. NS6010 supports cable power (PoC) operation through 22 meter coaxial cable or 12 meter shielded twisted pair (STP) cable, with multiple inline connectors. NS6010 has passed ISO 26262ASIL-B and AEC-Q100 Level 2 certification, with an automotive temperature range of -40 ° C to+105 ° C.

NS6010 includes ISO26262 ASIL-B certified 12C and SPI control ports, flexible GPIO with trigger mode, constant delay mode, and oversampling mode, tunneling UART, forward and backward audio channels, built-in ADC, temperature sensor, and a wide range of functional safety diagnostics.
